At Penpethy Holiday Cottages we offer four beautiful self catering holiday cottages, beautifully converted from a traditional Cornish stone barn near the stunning area of Tintagel.

Our Tintagel cottages are only 3 miles from a place known for its King Arthur mythology and picturesque scenery. With general amenities and WiFi included, you can choose to relax in the comfort of your own cottage or venture out to explore all that North Cornwall has to offer.
Dog Friendly Tintagel Cottages

All our holiday cottages are dog friendly with six acres of private land on your doorstep and a dog bath on standby after those long walks in the stunning Tintagel countryside.

Since your furry friends are also on holiday too, on arrival they'll also be treated to some extra special doggy treats for their stay.

Tintagel Castle​
​
A stay in Tintagel wouldn't be complete without a visit to Tintagel Castle. Take a journey into the legend and myth surrounding this beautiful piece of history. The castle is set to reopen with the addition of a new footbridge in the Summer of 2019 making it much more accessible.

Trebarwith Strand Dog Friendly Beach

Set between our Self Catering Holiday Cottages and Tintagel is Trebarwith Strand dog friendly beach. With views out across the Atlantic and the stunning Gull Rock just off the beach you'd be hard pushed to find a beach with such dramatic scenery. It's also dog friendly all year round!

St Nectan's Glen

If you're looking for something a bit more tranquil and esoteric then a walk up to this spiritual sanctuary might be what you're looking for. At the sacred site of Saint Nectan's Glen the Trevillet River has carved its way through creating the magnificent 60ft waterfall this site is known for.

Tintagel Old Post Office

One of the most iconic parts of a stroll down Tintagel high street is the spectacularly warped roof of the Old Post Office. Built in the 14th Century this stone house was made to the plan of a medieval manor house.
